Lauren Stern Design was founded in 2007 with the belief that the spaces people inhabit should reflect who they are. Known for this artful and individualistic approach, Lauren has assembled a distinguished team who shares these values. Our designers, architects and craftspeople come together to execute Lauren’s vision with the utmost care and skill.

mili shah / architectural designer
Mili leads our architectural projects and manages construction oversight. Originally from Westchester New York, Mili joined our team in 2019. She has previously worked at STUDIOS Architecture and Handel Architects where she contributed to a variety of corporate, commercial, hospitality and residential projects, including the COACH headquarters in Hudson Yards, Bloomberg LP headquarters, and the Dream Hotel Downtown. Mili earned her Master of Architecture from Cornell University and her undergraduate degree from Emory University. She lives in Brooklyn with her husband and three daughters.
lauren stern / principal
For over 15 years, Lauren has been working with clients to transform their spaces. Her projects have been featured in Traditional Home, Time Out New York and on HGTV. She founded Lauren Stern Design after working at luxury firms, including Wilson & Associates, where she designed hospitality interiors worldwide. She holds an Associate Degree in Interior Design from the New York School of Interior Design and a Bachelor of Science in Fine Art and Communication from Boston University. Lauren is on the board of the Boerum Hill Association, the Brooklyn neighborhood where she lives with her husband and two children.
anna reinhard / senior designer
Anna handles logistics, purchasing and installation. Originally from Portland, Oregon, Anna received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Oregon and most recently attended the New York School of Interior Design. Prior to her career in interior design, Anna spent nearly five years in the public relations industry. Anna lives in Brooklyn with her boyfriend and dog and enjoys exploring her neighborhood, running and baking.
