For the Stately Homes-by-the-Sea Show House in Rumson, New Jersey, we designed the great room with lofted study that was featured in Traditional Home magazine. The historic Holly Hill Estate’s formal gardens provided a natural pink palette that our team echoed in selections of artwork, block-printed Fortuny textiles and window shades fabricated from Marc Jacobs scarves. We replaced the existing fireplace with a Chesney’s limestone mantel that matched the grandeur of the space, while creating distinct living and dining areas that made the large room feel comfortable and intimate.
