When a family we had worked with for many years purchased a home in Greenwich, Connecticut, they called on us to repurpose the furnishings we had selected together for a formal Manhattan apartment. The existing pieces were paired with breezy draperies, twine-wrapped chandeliers and colorful wallpapers to create an upbeat and cohesive family home. Some renovation was required to achieve our vision, including a wet bar conversion to a full pool bathroom and a gut of the master bathroom to make way for a luxurious soaking tub. We bleached the wide-plank oak floors throughout the house to make the color consistent and to create a fresh and modern look. Our team worked with Hobbs Care contractor Adam Cohen to design a bespoke treehouse on the property that features a small porch, custom built-in bunk beds and block-printed draperies.
